Cameron House Shelter offers emergency shelter, food, clothing and supports to women over the age of 18.
The Kawartha Rotary Club is proud to be working on an outdoor Gazebo on the Cameron House site.
The area where the Gazebo is to be built needed to be leveled and a draining pipe installed to divert water from the area. Thus far, the cement pad on which the Gazebo will sit has been completed. Stay posted for further updates on this exciting project. Thanks to Rotarians Dawn Straka, Morgan Smith and Bill Gordanier who have taken the lead on this project. The supply and install of materials and labour for the construction of the Gazebo at Cameron House Shelter, was made possible in part by many community companies that provided materials at cost, or donated them completely, and supplied labour and or deep discounts to their rates for this project to be built professionally and in a short period of time. As well, thank you to our Volunteers from Rotary that provided their time and labour to the project The community partners that donated to the Gazebo include - Susan Zambonin from Habitat for Humanity - Justin Smith - JMSmith Landscaping - Kawartha Capital Landscape Supply - Steve Fawcett - EMCO Corporation - Tom Elliott - Kawartha Metals - Drew Merrett - Merrett Home Hardware, Lansdowne Street W - Todd Lawson - Havelock Metals Co. - Brian Remus - Remus Construction - Morgan Smith - Fully Promoted powered by Signarama |
